Alpengirl Teen Summer Adventure Camp for Girls
Montana Horse Camp Itinerary
Day 1: Arriving at Bozeman airport, your Alpenguides will greet you and introduce you to the rest of your group for general camp introductions and games followed by the first of many delicious and fresh "camp gourmet" meals. Camping at a forest service campground nearby.
Day 2: Early morning yoga introduction, a drive to the Centennial Valley and sunset horseback ride followed by an evening of fun and games, a hot meal, campfire and camping at the Montgomery homestead. Note: Yoga is an integral part of all Alpengirl camp itineraries and the start to most days.
Day 3-5: An authentic mountain horse-packing trip in the Centennial Mountains along the Continental Divide. 3 days of riding horses through beautiful untouched wilderness with mules along to carry our camping gear. Wilderness campsites.
Day 6: Canoe on the Henrys Fork of the Snake River. Camping at a nearby forest service campground.
Day 7: Our last hooray together! Awards, feasting, wild west rodeo and other surprises in West Yellowstone!
Day 8: Departing from Bozeman airport. See you next summer!
