Some have started teaching professionally, many have travelled extensively, some started graduate school, and others finished college. Yes, even at staff training, we know how to have a good time!  After the first aid kits have been packed and before we proceed to camper health form reviews, the Alpenguides have 30 seconds to put on their best costumes and enjoy a quick round of a favorite Alpenolympic event - Tarp Wrestling!

2009 Camp Staff Alpenguides

They’re HERE!  The 2009 Alpenguides arrived yesterday in Montana to start staff training. From Left to Right; Cristina (Lander, WY), Kerri (Missoula, MT), Hannah (Jackson, WY), Maggie (Bozeman, MT), Rose (Bozeman, MT), Alyssa (Flagstaff, AZ), and Laura (Bozeman, MT). This photo was taken just after sighting a juvenile hawk in the back alley that was learning to fly. Today at staff training we’re going over health and safety forms, organizing first aid kits, and discussing the 1st 24 hours of camp document before heading to the backpacking trailhead in the Tobacco Root Mountains.
